There are a few concerts that go down in musical history—Altamont, Woodstock, Live Aid, the Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds tour—as legendary experiences. What live show stands as legend in your own experience?

DOBLE POINTS FOR ANYONE WHO CAN GUESS? No? No?

Awrite, here goes:

Goo Goo Dolls this July x2

Helloooo Captain Obvious.

I have, not to brag or anything, been to a lot of concerts considering my relatively short life-span. I've been to eight separate "arena" concerts, which amounts to having seen 13 different bands play, and some smaller club-scale ones (the Goo Goo Dolls and Emilie Autumn were in smaller clubs, but I count those as "arena" because of their popularity etc.). I've also been to three point five festivals, amounting to approx. I-have-no-idea-but-about-30-if-not-more different bands, which gives me a total of 43+, plus that I've seen some twice. So yeah, I've seen a lot. And judging by this expertise that I can claim to have, I still say that Goo Goo Dolls was in fact the most epic concert I will ever see, in terms of my own perception.

I mean, Muse was epic in the sense of completely overdone, Emilie Autumn was epic in the sense of the amazingly good show they put on, The Wombats at Hove this year was epic in the sense that the audience actually managed to destroy the floor because of jumping, but Goo Goo Dolls will always be THE concert, I believe. Can't say for sure, though, cause I can't see myself stopping going to concerts ever.

Anyway. You know, I always rant a lot about music, I know that, and I am truly sorry; I realise most people give rats ass. So now I want to know what you guys like.

Please post a comment with what you like to listen to when you're angry or sad or happy, a band you're fond of, a song that means a lot to you, anything. You can leave a link for me to download, or I can go and try to find it on youtube or somewhere on teh internetz, either way works fine with me.

Another thing — I've been toying with the idea of posting a six word story at the end of every post for a while. I genuinely want to write and I have so many ideas swirling in my head but I simply don't have the time. This can be my creativity outlet in addition to a place where I cram my feelings to maitain my mental stability. Bad idea/good idea?

Speaking of personal life; it's going alright, I think. Nothing too exciting. We've gotten a fair bit of snow up here in the North, the amount of school has surprisingly not gotten any less nor less stressful although it is soon Christmas (three test left, ugh), I'm fairly happy with the mock exam grades I've gotten back and there has been sporadic visits to friends' places. Oh, and my mom got back from Spain yesterday after having been there with my gran, who fell down the stairs and needed care, for quite some time. I've actually been at my dad's place since the 22nd or something. Not that I mind, though. I miss my mom, but I do not miss having to get out of the house earlier to make it to the metro on time. Nor do I miss this oddball who was at Norberg too who takes the metro from the same station as I do. He is a serious oddball who gets weirder and weirder. Annnd I've got tickets for the pre-premier for Twilight next weekend, that ought to be interesting.

My God I am boring. Worse, I am a boring person with fading pink hair. Killer combo.

John answered my question! I was browsing down and reading it, and then I saw my name and was like ".. huh? .. yay! : D" It's been a while since I asked the question, I didn't even recognize it.
This is the third time my question has been answered in the Inner Machine (Goo fanclub), haha. I still need Robby to answer, though.
I am now in search of the Kinks song he wants to cover.

Also, Mike Malinin(inininininin) had his birthday the 10th. Happy belated 41st birthday to another of my favourite men in the whole wide world.

Has happened since last time:

- I was asked to write an article on the place where I saw Dum Dum Boys. One of the girls is a friend of my best friend, and I said to her that if they needed any help they only needed to contact me. She called me Thursday and asked if I could write the article, and I said yes. I'm sort of flattered, but also anxious that I won't have it done til Tuesday because I have all these tests I need to practice for (and I am a huge procrastinator). I'm only glad to help, though. I mean, these girls are doing me and every music lover under 19 a huge favor (the club is for 13 to 18 year olds), and they're only 16 themselves.

- Was classtrippin' with my class. omg anfaDKdslaskjdkAKJ I love my class so much it makes me want to cry. We rented a completely ace cabin for nothing and went camping there from Friday til Saturday with almost the entire class. We had a room where we were gonna sleep, and we had all these mattresses I put out all over the floor so it became sort of like a tumbling ground, and we had a huge pillow fight up there, just smacking each other with pillows and we were playing games and eating candy and telling ghost stories (no one of the girls dared to go pee alone after that) and most of us slept approx. 3 hours. I might put up some pictures as soon as they're up on Facebook (I AM A DISGRACE I KNOW).

- Was in a 80's/90s themed birthday yesterday. Um, not that much to say except that I was deadbeat after having slept three hours and I kept falling asleep when we were watching Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. I love Johnny Depp.

Hemingway was once challenged to write a story in only six words. His response? “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” He is believed to have called it his greatest literary work ever. Can you write a story in six words?

"Dad's back. Get the gun, honey."

Am I the next Hemingway or am I the next Hemingway? I don't really have a writer's block either, I just thought the question/challenge was interesting.

My dad went to the doctor today to get his head checked. He's been having bad headaches lately, and that scares me. His picture could be next to the dictionay-definition of a heavy smoker, and I'm afraid it might have finally taken its toll. He even has sick leave from his job, and he barely ever takes time off. I'm sort of equally afraid of my dad becoming sick not because he gets ill, but because he's always been a symbol of endurance and strenght to me. In my head, he simply cannot be sick.

I finished Breaking Dawn, the last book in the Twilight-saga, today.
