*flailspaz*. But imho, if Warner Bros continues to release trailers, we'll have seen the whole thing by the time it comes out.

I've spent my entire day reading manga instead of doing homework. What am I, stupid or something?
Ouran High School Host Club, why so awesome?

WARNER BROTHERS, WHAT THE HELL?!

Why I'm so frustrated >:

Short version:
WB is postponing Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince until JULY. AAARGHH! *throws a tantrum* I could understand if they postponed it until .. January. But July? For fuck's sake.

Helen McCrory is possibly the worst casting EVER in the Harry Potter movies. She is not Narcissa. Narcissa is not that wrinkly. Narcissa is pretty and young and not anything like McCrory at all. I can understand why she might be casted as Bellatrix, but Narcissa? Nononono. Wrong, wrong, wrong. I'm dreading this.

At any rate. Lately my life has been busy like whoa, and it will most probably be like that for a while. Tenth grade sure is hectic. To let you know what I've been up to lately:

Muse concert
It was absolutely fantastic. Muse is a really hyped up band when it comes to shows, and they deserve every word of it! It was awesome to meet [info]noemedandrea and [info]assasinxmuffin again, I hadn't seen them in a while, and while we were waiting outside we also met two others from the Norwegian My Chemical Romance MB where I first got in touch with [info]assasinxmuffin. It's always awesome to be at gigs because the others there are so friendly. There was a girl who handed out chocolate, we all talked to complete strangers and it wasn't as boring to wait as usual. When we got in, we ran over to the merch stall right away (I had learned after the Dream Theater gig) and bought our stuff before we ran over to the stage, securing some awesome spots.

The support band was some all female, Finnish, punk-rocky, The Donnas-esque band named something with Cowboys. They were pretty cool but I think the crowd was awfully hostile and they didn't get enough applause or anything. :/

It was a looong wait after that. Then Muse came on the whole crowd just frenzied and me and my mates screamed like shit. To be completely honest, I can't remember much but I do remember that it was fucking amazing and that they played two of my favorite songs by them, "Stockholm Syndrome" & "Plug In Baby". I also remember meeting a friend of Adrian and talking to a guy who looked very much like Anders from Raske Menn. In fact, he was so much like him he could've been him, if Anders had been younger. The whole thing was awesome, I had so much fun. Absolutely one of the best concerts I've been to thus far in my life <3

London
I've wanted to go to London the last couple of years now, and I was absolutely thrilled when I was told that we were in fact going. Mom has always said "Let's do it this vacation!" but it never got any longer than that. I was taken out of school two days (boo-hoo, poor me *is very sarcastic*) and we stayed from Thursday until Sunday. I was a very.. forgetful moron and forgot to tell my piano teacher we were going away, heh. It went alright, though. She got a box of chocolate and I got to be in London.
We lived right next to Marylbone Road, very close to Oxford Street and all that jazz. Alright hotel, not too shabby but I've been to better places. I used almost all my savings on CDs and gifts for people back home, and a couple of books and a Little Britain calendar.
Places visited were Madame Tussauds, Tate Modern & Camden market. I didn't find anything I could buy at Camden, which sucks since I liked a lot there. Ah well.
It was a great trip. :] Next destination of choice: AMERICA.

Hope you had a nice weekend! ♥

Oh goodness. I've just finished reading Deathly Hallows. I realize it's a bit late, but I didn't get hold of the book before yesterday, it was sold out all over Reykjavik and new ones didn't arrive before we left.
I won't spoil anything, anyone who have read the book (and I would guess the most of the Potter-people on my f-list have done that) knows what I'm talking about. If you want spoilers, go somewhere else.

I loved it! It turns and twists and there was so much in that book that turned out like nothing I imagined. I sat reading seven-eight hours last night before I had to sleep. I literally sat until morning, and I picked it up again a couple of hours ago after doing only what was strictly necessary, like eating and showering. I got really pissed at my sister for disturbing me, but she only did that once, lucky for her.

Anyways. I absolutely loved the book, I have newfound love for a character I thought I'd never like (You all know who it is, How can you NOT love after that), and I believe this is my favorite in the series. The end was absolutely beautiful and I am sure I was grinning very wide when I read the epilogue. The book was graver and funnier than all the others, a particular mentioning of Snape and shampoo cracked me up loudly, and on occasions I felt really sad. I was actually on the verge of crying three times.

I have also found out that Marilyn Manson is an incredible musician and I take back everything I have every said concerning his music (though not what I've said about his personality, he still seems like a complete nutcase), it is absolutely wonderful. I've listened to "Eat Me, Drink Me" the whole time I've been reading, and man. It blew my brain. I have to get more of his music.

[Edit] Screw not spoiling, I have to:

Spoilers behind this cut! Approach with caution. )

[Edit #2]
My Harry Potter Spoiler of Doom is:
Ron goes on a hot date with a crazed fan as predicted by the Prophet Isiah

K, so. I was at the Order of the Phoenix preview today, which was preeetty cool. I've never been to anything like that, so there were small things that made me squee, like going in a sort of parade, small bags with stuff for everyone at our seats and just the genuine feeling of not being alone in this fandom. Even a girl who commented on my PotterCast t-shirt, and I've never met anyone except [info]bokhylle who have heard of these things. :D I also got autographs from both Katie and Matthew.

Pictures & a few spoilers )

A not-so-quick RL update, for anyone interested.

Lately my life has been very busy, there's been things going on all the time. Yet I find myself time to surf around at the computer every day. Seems like I've finally found a balance between two of the most un-combineable things in the world. Which is good.

Hamster business )

Spending time with my crush )

AND OMG I'M GOING TO THE HARRY POTTER PREVIEW TOMORROW WHICH IS AWESOME BECAUSE MATTHEW LEWIS (NEVILLE) AND KATIE LEUNG (CHO CHANG) ARE GOING TO BE THERE OMG! :D I really wanted to dress up, but because Matt has been at PotterCast before I'm going to wear my PotterCast t-shirt instead. Hope he'll notice xD

And I'm going to Iceland Friday 13th. Oo. I am indeed very superstitious.

THIS POST IS CAPZLOCKED! BEWARE!

Oho-hokai, trying to be coherent and all that. .. Not working! AAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAH! IIIIH! SQUEE! WE HAVE A TITLE, WE HAVE A FRICKIN' TITLE! THIS IS LIKE THE BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER!

Don't know what I am talking about? Shaaaame! J.K. Rowling has released the title for book seven at her official site! (Attention: official site, not like "HarRy-potter4evah.com") Evil lady she is, just sneaking up like that when no-one is expecting it. At least not me. Gosh, a step nearer the end. It's sad and oh-so-exciting. :D
