Right now I'm in the middle of Notown, Nowhere, and if this snow continues I might just get stuck. And that would be bad for my two Russian students who are gonna live with me tomorrow.

No, it's not that bad. I'm only 30 mins outside Oslo, spending time with my gran and great-gran. They're cool people, I like them. I feel that I sort of don't know them enough to spend time with them without the rest of my family (e.g. mom and sister), though. They are here alright but it's funny how I probably wouldn't have gone to visit the old people at all if they hadn't come along. It's a family thing, I guess, just like it feels unnatural to go visit most of my aunts without my dad because I've never done anything else.

Did I mention it's snowing like hell froze over for the third time this winter? Just when I though spring was around the bend. Damn you, Northern hempisphere *shakes fist*

Yesterday I went and saw my 45th band, which makes a little celebration due. And, in two-three concerts I've seen approx. 50 bands. In four years. I think that's pretty impressive, seeing as a lot of people haven't even seen one. The band was Big Bang. There was a whole lot of people there. Didn't mosh a whole lot because Tiril is tiny and she couldn't really handle it, so we sat and enjoyed the show which is different from what I usually do.

[edit] This was written before dinner earlier. Now I'm home. Ohai. I don't have anything supplemental save that, soo.. I should go back to not doing my homework.

RUSSIANS TOMORROW HALP.

Toodels, poodles & noodles.

[edit #2] This is probably the shittiest entry ever, I can see so many grammatical errors and it's not very interesting at all. Shame on me. Here, let me make it up to you:

Have you ever met a celebrity in real life? Who was it and how did your paths cross?

- Goo Goo Dolls x2 ♥
- Slaves To Gravity minus the drummer
- Billy Talent sort of halfway, I was asking them questions on a stage. That counts, right?
- Emilie Autumn and her entourage
- Tshawe from Madcon (well, yelled over the street. Counting that one too) plus I've seen the other guy, Yosef
- vocalist & bass player of Major Parkinson
- Calle from Raske Menn + seen him once (Check these out: The World History in 5 Minutes & a spoof on Little Red Riding Hood with *le gasp* subtitles)
- talked for like two seconds with Katie Leung aka Cho Chang and Matthew Lewis aka Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter movies
- and I've seen what feels like a lot, such as Eli Hagen, wife of well-known Norwegian politician Carl I. Hagen, being the most recent one
- [edit] Dan Whitesides and Jeph Howard from The Used.

Does that make me interesting?

I saw Major Parkinson yesterday with [info]arienettez and Tiril. I got two of them awesome balloons and a t-shirt which is way too small (yes Tiril, you can have it) from the singer in the band ffs and we were all up front because there weren't too many people there and we had room to move and I was just about the only person there who knew any lyrics but it's okay because it was great. The only thing that was bad was the length of the set, it was too short. That's okay though, because I've seen Major Parkinson damnit and it makes me happy.

Oh maaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnn. First off, Død Snø (Dead Snow) was hilarious and scary at the same time, so if it's ever coming to a town near you, GO WATCH IT. Liek, for real. It's utterly ridiculous but I jumped out of my seat so many times. Nazi zombies for the win.

Anyway. Guy is excellent. It was a bit .. not awkward, but slow at first, but at soon as we got inside it went very well. askfjakfjadsd;ds I don't know. I feel exhilarated when he's around. I must say I was really good at keeping my composure, though. He's a bit .. shy? Or maybe it's just me who's not used to being so brash. Either way, the only thing I'd wish he was better at was taking some more initiative. I can't stop thinking about how much I want to kiss him. I hope there's a cabin trip soon. Jesus, I don't think you even want to know this stuff. SORRY.
God(s), if you exist, please be nice to me for once and let this go well. Just for once. Please?

Tuesday is Oasis-day with [info]bokhylle. I can't wait, it's a long time since I've been to any big concerts. I was at Kattarock yesterday, but it's not the same y'know. Then, on Thursday I have a French test which will surely make my grade drop because I feel sort of lost in French. And then, on Saturday, there's this Model United Nations thing, which is basically kids getting together and pretending to be the UN. I'm 3rd chair for the US, and I'm going to talk about cultural imperialism and the eradication of cultures. I have one helluva job, there.

Busybusy week, in other words. And I somehow managed to click the "watch" button on [info]ohnotheydidnt, and now the page is goddamned taking over my f-list. If you know how to un-watch a community, pleaseplease tell me, or I may miss a lot of what's going on in the important parts of the internet (aka you guys' life).

There are a few concerts that go down in musical history—Altamont, Woodstock, Live Aid, the Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds tour—as legendary experiences. What live show stands as legend in your own experience?

DOBLE POINTS FOR ANYONE WHO CAN GUESS? No? No?

Awrite, here goes:

Goo Goo Dolls this July x2

Helloooo Captain Obvious.

I have, not to brag or anything, been to a lot of concerts considering my relatively short life-span. I've been to eight separate "arena" concerts, which amounts to having seen 13 different bands play, and some smaller club-scale ones (the Goo Goo Dolls and Emilie Autumn were in smaller clubs, but I count those as "arena" because of their popularity etc.). I've also been to three point five festivals, amounting to approx. I-have-no-idea-but-about-30-if-not-more different bands, which gives me a total of 43+, plus that I've seen some twice. So yeah, I've seen a lot. And judging by this expertise that I can claim to have, I still say that Goo Goo Dolls was in fact the most epic concert I will ever see, in terms of my own perception.

I mean, Muse was epic in the sense of completely overdone, Emilie Autumn was epic in the sense of the amazingly good show they put on, The Wombats at Hove this year was epic in the sense that the audience actually managed to destroy the floor because of jumping, but Goo Goo Dolls will always be THE concert, I believe. Can't say for sure, though, cause I can't see myself stopping going to concerts ever.

Anyway. You know, I always rant a lot about music, I know that, and I am truly sorry; I realise most people give rats ass. So now I want to know what you guys like.

Please post a comment with what you like to listen to when you're angry or sad or happy, a band you're fond of, a song that means a lot to you, anything. You can leave a link for me to download, or I can go and try to find it on youtube or somewhere on teh internetz, either way works fine with me.

Another thing — I've been toying with the idea of posting a six word story at the end of every post for a while. I genuinely want to write and I have so many ideas swirling in my head but I simply don't have the time. This can be my creativity outlet in addition to a place where I cram my feelings to maitain my mental stability. Bad idea/good idea?

Speaking of personal life; it's going alright, I think. Nothing too exciting. We've gotten a fair bit of snow up here in the North, the amount of school has surprisingly not gotten any less nor less stressful although it is soon Christmas (three test left, ugh), I'm fairly happy with the mock exam grades I've gotten back and there has been sporadic visits to friends' places. Oh, and my mom got back from Spain yesterday after having been there with my gran, who fell down the stairs and needed care, for quite some time. I've actually been at my dad's place since the 22nd or something. Not that I mind, though. I miss my mom, but I do not miss having to get out of the house earlier to make it to the metro on time. Nor do I miss this oddball who was at Norberg too who takes the metro from the same station as I do. He is a serious oddball who gets weirder and weirder. Annnd I've got tickets for the pre-premier for Twilight next weekend, that ought to be interesting.

My God I am boring. Worse, I am a boring person with fading pink hair. Killer combo.
