The weather now is like a storm from a movie; bright lightning flashes, rumbling thunder, and pouring rain. The worst part is that I like it. I enjoy this kind of weather to a point where it gets silly.
Anyway. The weather itself is totally ridiculous too. The thunder sounds like it's rippling through the clouds with all its might, and I've never seen lightning like that. I just saw a huge flash.

It's a beautiful day, I heard everybody say / The sun shines down for all of us / Just the same, you know I like the rain / That ain't so obvious

"We are the Normal" - Goo Goo Dolls

You want to know why I keep updating all the time? BECAUSE I'VE GOT NOTHING TO DOOOO. I could clean out my room and start packing for the trip, though. Maybe I should.
I could be making those damned Norwegian Wood and Hove posts. I could also be reading "Special Topics in Calamity Physics" by Marisha Pessl. It's my book of the moment (I just finished "Eragon" by Christopher Paolini for the second or third time), and I like it a lot more than I thought I would. I abandoned it for the longest while because I thought it to be very boring. It does beat about the bush a lot, the whole point behind the book commences around the middle of it, so my extremely slow reading pace is justified. I found it again two days ago and it turns out that it is pretty interesting, despite what I thought.

Anyway. I was out with friends yesterday, and it's funny how much better I can feel if someone gives me a little bit attention (read: boy flirting with yours truly). Best confidence boost ever, yes? I do think. And it's pretty funny to see your friends being all happy and drunk, running around and making friends with random people, too.
