..about what I've been doing and thinking about as of lately, which is mostly school but also some other fun stuff.

1) I've been at a youth-club today and saw some bands. There was really only one band I went to see, whose members I know and are acquainted with. They impressed me (not that I didn't know they were good, I had seen them before but their vocalist was sick so it was more of a side-project, not like this performance at all) but the genre they play isn't my kind of thing. Still pretty cool, though, and I got to meet friends I hadn't seen in a while.

2) Hall-o-ween. It's not really a big holiday over here, which sucks arseballs. I mean, how can you pass on a holiday for dressing up, seeing scary movies and free candy?
Anyway. I arranged this thing at my granddad's place, of all places, haha. About half of the class came, and that wasn't as many as I'd hoped for, but some people did already have plans, which is understandable. Some dressed up, some didn't (I was Pinky the Pirate), but all came in pretty high spirits. We watched The Hills Have Eyes 2. Was sort of scary when we were watching, but it didn't really give that creepy feeling afterwards that good horror movies do. We also played some Spin the Bottle, but with relatively un-dramatic challenges. All was good fun, basically. I'm aiming at having a similar thing on a day when everyone can come, cause the persons I'd most wished for weren't there.

3) Oasis are coming here in January, so me and bokhylle are skipping the first class and maybe the second to get in line for tickets. Look at that; I'm consciously skipping school. Eeek, I feel so torn about it.

4) About school: I'm doing pretty well in the subjects I've gotten feedback on so far, which makes me happy. I still have to work on Maths a bit more, but my teacher has said that he hopes I'll do well enough to get the grade he feels I deserve. Not happy with my atm grade in Norwegian, but it's a three year subject so I'm not too concerned about it.

5) If the world could vote. Click the link and throw in your vote for the US presidential candidate you would vote for. Personally, I'm rooting for Obama. I really want to stay up and watch the election on the 4th, like I did in 2004. I remember being really pissed off at humanity when Kerry didn't win, haha, and I wasn't really aware of things as much as I am now. It's funny to think that that was 4 years ago. Really. I remember always thinking Kerry was named Kennedy, for some reason.

6) I wish I had the time to do NaNoWriMo. I have a lot of ideas swirling around my head, but I never get any further than a page before I stop writing because I need to go and do something else. Bleh.

7) My atm favourite song that I think everyone should hear. The band is the same as Slaves To Gravity, under their former name The*Ga*Ga*s. They were the warm up act for Goo Goo Dolls when I saw 'em. I gotta say, they're a relief and a contrast to todays many bad music scenes.

8) OMG SOON CHRISTMAS! We have snow here, had it for two days. Don't think it'll last, though. It's usually like this; snows for a couple of days, then the snow melts and there is no more snow until mid-January. I'm sincerely hoping for a white Christmas, but I'll just have to wait and see.
