I'm so interested in weird diseases, it's nuts. Right now I'm watching this program about primordial dwarfism, and I'm just so utterly fascinated. I can't explain it, it's just something about syndromes and diseases and genetics in general that just gets to me; this is one of the things that I can remember always being interested in. The first thing I remember (except from watching a tv-show about a girl with extreme anorexia and being utterly creeped about how she looked) was this Chimera syndrome thing, and I was baffled, I was glued to the tv. I was really into genetics when we had about that in 10th grade, me and two of my friends got tasks designed for students three years older than us that we nailed. And just recently we had about genetics in Science class, and I had this presentation about Chromosomal Diseases. When it was over I asked people how long it was, thinking it was about ten minutes or something, but it turned out that I stood there talking for 45 minutes. Jeeeez.

I don't care what my granddad says about the possibility that I mightn't like to study genetics, I want to take Biology and even though I mightn't end up working with it, at least I will have the opportunity.

I had my Russian mock exam today. The tasks weren't too hard and I think I did alright but I'm so mad at my teacher, because the texts the tasks revolved around were way, way too hard. I spent an hour translating a very small text because I'd never seen any of the words before.

Music that's blasting my ears lately: Skeleton Boy by Friendly Fires, Untouched by The Veronicas and 100 Yard Dash by Raphael Saadiq (Just a clip. New Youtube rules, I haet u D:). Generes people wouldn't suspect me of liking: Motown and "indierock that falsely promotes itself as electronica" quoth Adrian. But especially motown, soul and gospel.
